ALANAH IS A TELEVISION AND FILM EDITOR BASED IN NEW YORK.
She is best known for her work on Starz's OUTLANDER and its prequel series, OUTLANDER: BLOOD OF MY BLOOD. A post-production professional for 10 years, her recent projects include SISTERHOOD, INC. (Hallmark film), TINDERBOX (award-winning short film), LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) and CHICAGO PD (NBC).
She is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild, and an Associate Member of American Cinema Editors, where she serves on the committee for New York's ACE Internship Program. As an Associate Member of ACE, she has worked on reels for the ACE Eddie Awards since 2019.
Beyond shaping stories of all kinds in the edit room, she also loves dance class and cooking complicated recipes.
